Hotel Mojacar Playa

I was almost ready to give this charming little place a glowing review, but alas, the noise from the loading bay at 6:30 am definitely ruined my sleep. The breakfast setup was far too complicated, having to ask for simple items is just not acceptable. And no welcome gift? I guess i'm not the VIP i thought i deserved to be.

Within a walking distance of the restaurant Marama. Set so close to Plaza Nueva.

Good, friendly staff. Clean room. nice balcony. Good food.

Tea and coffee facility in rooms would be ideal.

Consider enjoying breakfast early to fully appreciate the fine sea views without the morning rush.

very clean room and public areas, pleasant staff. the hotel was well positioned being near to the beach and also very quiet which I liked.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent breakfast offerings that included freshly baked croissants and a lovely sea view from the balcony, making it an ideal choice for those looking to relax after a day exploring the nearby...  

Breakfast. There a very good choice of food and the room was nice. The lounge area and the balcony and cha.rs overllooking the sea.

Our balcony was in shade in the afternoon and there was nowhere obvious to sit outside

The hotel was excellent value for money. Basic but very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The little terraces overlooking the sea were especially good for the very economical price

anywhere in mojacar you can't find a hotel 'on' the beach. from our balcony, you would see a street, then the beach.

Room above loading bay led to morning noise from deliveries. Thin walls made for uncomfortable neighboring sounds. Basic furnishings felt dated, and towels were small and scruffy, not replaced . Breakfast area was cramped, lacking ambiance.

The charm of this hotel really stood out. Having a full-size fridge in the room was a great convenience, great for snacks and drinks. I loved that a well-equipped supermarket was right downstairs. It made shopping easy. The room was always very clean which added to the pleasant experience. I enjoyed the continental breakfast despite its limited variety. The pastries were fresh and satisfying. The location was excellent, providing easy access to local attractions and the beach. One downside was the breakfast service. The presentation was lacking, as all items needed to be requested rather than self-serve. I noticed there wasn't any tea-making facilities in the room, which I really missed. While the wall thickness between rooms could lead to some disturbances, it didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment of my stay.

Location was good, oppositve the beach, just above a supermarket which was very handy. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Great and very helpfull staff. Clean room. Very good value for money

After 2 days, water (shower/toilet/sink) turned yellow and stayed like that for the next 5 days. Breakfast was a bit boring as the same things every single day - no cooked breakfast - just ham, cheese and tomatoes and various pastries.
